Makeda Saggau-Sackey has been a fashion and beauty influencer for over 10 years.  Bored with the political arena that is Washington, DC, blogging became a creative outlet – first sharing her love of shopping then matriculating to giving tips and reviews of her sartorial, food, beauty, philanthropy and travel musings on Glamazon Diaries, a fashion blog that launched in 2007. 

She's been lauded as one of the first fashion influencers in our nation's capital before fashion blogging became saturated with hundred of blogs.  As a fashion powerhouse, Makeda has collaborated with everyone from Neiman Marcus and Brahmin to Vogue and General Motors. She has been featured in numerous publications including Essence, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Glamour, Washington Post and Washingtonian. She also make regular television appearances in the Washington, DC and New York City, with several national appearances on ABC, MSNBC, CNN and E! News.

Makeda now lives in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, after living seven magical years in Manhattan.
